(1) PLANNING COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING REGARDING THE PROPOSED RV PARK!

Wed. May 29th, 5:30 PM at Mecosta Elementary School

The Planning Commission is holding a special meeting on Wed. May 29th at 5:30 PM at Mecosta Elementary School to discuss and decide on their final recommendation to the Board of Trustees about the proposed RV Mega Park. The Board of Trustees, not the Planning Commission, makes the final decision on the proposed conditional rezoning request. That decision could come as early as the Board of Trustees' June 11th annual meeting (see below). Please plan to attend and show your opposition to the RV Mega Park. Now is not the time to let up on expressing the overwhelming community opposition to this development. 

 

(2) BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING

Tues. June 11th at 5:30 PM at Mecosta Elementary School

Members of the public will be able to address the Board regarding concerns about the RV Mega Park.  It's possible/even likely that the Board will make their decision at this meeting. It is critical that we have a great turnout for this meeting. It is the first time that citizens have been able to address the Board of Trustees in this type of public setting, so please spread the word.

(3) MEET & GREET BRUNCH WITH THE BOARD OF MTRFRD

Sat. June 1st, 10:00AM - noon at the Pines Pavilion in Canadian Lakes (see map below)​

 

Come and join the MTRFRD board and volunteers for a meet & greet light brunch. We will be serving free brunch fare, including brunch snacks, plus a mimosa & bloody mary bar. Come and give us your input, volunteer for some future tasks, and help us raise $ for the cause. Map shown below:
